Since a couple of months I am looking at the works of the amazing artist Julian Beever. Not only does he make astonishing pavement drawings but also oil paintings and wall murals.
Look what he has done in Edinbourgh for Live8 (Make Poverty History).
Of course he´s on You Tube as well;
And check out his
WOW ! How creative ! Thanks for posting.
You´re welcome. Every time I look at his drawings, there´s another tiny detail that I´ve missed before.

He has been working in Brussels (rue Neuve - Nieuwe straat) and I've missed that! *headdesk*
I know, if only we knew, if only we knew... LOL
He's great. I have been a fan of his for some years now...
That is truly amazing. I have trouble doodling on paper I can't even imagine making something look 3D on concrete. I've seen street drawings before but not 3D. He really has a unique talent.
He really has and now that I´ve got your attention....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
and many happy returns of the day.
Aw, Thank you! You're the first person to tell me that today (besides the Hub). Not even my daughter, she'll remember tonight when it's cake time though!
Shame on her! Today it´s my Mom´s birthday as well so I will be eating cake tonight too.

We have not been introduced, but I hope you don't mind if I intrude and also wish you a happy birthday!
Thank you! I try to ignore birthdays at my age (48) YIKES!!!!

Hey, you are still on the good side of 50, you! *sigh*
The way he handles the perspective on things is mind boggling! I don't understand how he does it!
BTW, Happy Birthday! I am the *worst* at ever remembering anyone's birthday, so I'm glad I stumbled in here and found out. Enjoy your day!
Thanks Cats! It's okay, I go into the next room and forget what I'm in there for, and if I'm that bad now there's no hope for me in my later years!
He is brilliant, I have been following his work for ages since I saw one of his pieces on a pavement in a town near where I live :-)
Very nice. I know the work of M.C. Escher because my dentist has a litho of his work nailed to the ceiling. Everytime I lay down in the chair I have a look upon his work "Hol en Bol" and I always discover something else. LOL. It keeps me distracted from the pain of course.
