No, I most certainly haven't. What a find!
I still have to decide whether I like the photo (or rather his fringe), though. ;)
Somehow I´m more fond of his later pictures than the ones taken in his younger years (that includes his haircut LOL).

I agree. With a few exceptions, I'm much more fond of his more recent photos as well.
Don't be sorry! It's new to me. I kind of like it. Wonder what time period it is? Love those highlights and the way the lighting in the photo is shading one side of his face. Makes me want to reach out and tuck those longer pieces of hair behind his ear.
It looks kinda like the haircut he had for Romeo and Juliet, but he's older here, so I'd say late 1970's, but I can't remember when that was filmed so it could be early '80's.
NEVER seen that one ! Methinks it either a 60's haircut or a do he had when playing Shakespeare on stage at sometimes.
New to me. Not a fringe lover but wonder when this was? I know there were some fringe-y pix about the time of Barchester Chronicles. It is a nice pic though, well found!
The rest of the pix from that site are good too.
Yes I noticed. Still wondering about the period though but you might be right about the BC time.

Dear peeekaboooh! Great thanks for this! I don’t know English (in school I studied German) and write this letter with the help of electronic translator. But I can read English. Best regards - Natalya from Russia, Saint Petersburg.
Dear Natalya, your English is perfect! Thank you for visiting my site. You can write me in German if you wish but I´ll leave that up to you.

No, my dear, we have *not* seen this photo before. BRAVO!!
OMG...THAT IS BEAUTIFUL...WHERE DID YOU FIND IT??? ARE THERE MORE???
No, unfortunately there weren´t more pics. I put the source right beneath the picture if you want to check out.
It's new to me! Never seen it before. Beeeeeutiful! Good thing he isn't wearing pointy ears or someone might confuse him with Mr. Spock.
OMG! Alan as Spock?!! Eeeeeeee!
Could this be a picture taken during Hamlet? didn't he wear his hair sort of this way for that play?
Any chance it could be a manip?
Considering the other type of pictures, I don´t think it will be a manip. I really don´t have a clue about the Hamlet period.
Je prefere quand Allan est plus age. Et sa coiffure sur cette photo ne lui va pas, a mon avis.
Je suis contente que vous etes d'accord! :)
Never be sorry to share Alan! Love his eyes in this piccy. Thanks for sharing.

I scrolled down my b&w folder to be sure, but I haven't seen this pic before. Thank you for this wonderful picture to dream about this night.
It's like a mix between Alan and John Lennon. *snort*
What a lovely photo! Hamlet time? (Well, he's not that young on this one!)
Makes me burst into song: In Penny Lane there is a barber showing photographs Of every head he's had the pleasure to know. And all the people that come and go Stop and say hello.
Yes, you should be sorry! How can you DARE to come up with another Alan-picie as goregeous as this! ;-)
*hangs head in shame* If I´m well informed this is from 1991/1992, which makes it almost unbelievable to notice he was 45/46 years old when this picture was taken!!!
As witty Sue has already suggested: We might start looking for an aging portrait in his attic ;-).
